Absolutely the most peaceful, relaxing and friendliest place to stay near Capitol Reef National Park. Clean rooms. General store. Pool/jaccuzi. Laundromat. All in a wooded surround with gentle breezes and a feeling of having arrived "home."
Deli is good quick sandwiches and salads at reasonable prices. Bakery selection can thin out fast. Go early for the best range of choices.
Very nice store. Reasonable prices, for being in the middle of nowhere. But the best part is the bakery/deli hidden in the back of the store. I bought a couple of muffins for breakfast. After trying them I was sent back to buy for everyone in our party, everyday of our stay. The muffins were that good. So were the cookies, sandwiches, pretty much everything we tried.
For a place in the middle of nowhere, they seem to anything and everything you can think of! The deli connected to it is great as well. Everything is very reasonably priced and the staff is very friendly!
Pretty large selection for such a small store. Reasonably priced items. Right across the street from where we stay annually!
