They gave me a great recommendation to take highway 12. I would never have done it otherwise.
Clean bathrooms. WiFi, but password protected. Lots of info about the local area and the National parks. Good spot to stop and get your bearings.
Clark gave me some really good area recommendations. This is a top notch visitor center with Wi-Fi and tables and really expert staff. I got advice on shower/laundry facilities, local tours, driving routes, best rest areas on Rt 12. Really good place to stop and get your head straight.
One clerk on duty meant a long wait to ask our queztions. Very basic bathrooms.
He helped us rearrange or itinerary to include Bears Ears national monument while we were on our way towards Monument Valley and Page, AZ. He knew about the terrain and little shortcut through Moki Dugway.
The gentleman running this information center was a godsend. He was so courteous, hospitable and full of information and tips regarding the local hikes, trails, parks and anything else regarding Wayne County and the surrounding areas.
