Should have known from the too-sweet margaritas that this place was overrated. And the service was terrible, too (had to ask for water, utensils and plates to share our small plates). The server didn’t seem to care that we didn’t eat even one-quarter of our food. It was really awful. We ordered the empanadas, shrimp/crab stack, and firecracker asparagus along with a couple of mediocre salads. What a waste of $100. Here’s a tip: don’t ever, ever serve your guests rock-hard, unripe avocado. I don’t eat it at home and I certainly don’t want to pay for it when I go out..
What a great surprise in central Utah!! Tasty and unique entrees. Not the fastest service even with only three tables full, but worth the wait. The Cuban sandwich was pretty light on meat for the price. The watermelon and feta salad was amazing and a good size serving. Didn't have room, but the freshly made pastries looked wonderful.
We'd been to a few mediocre and one not so good place (Patio a spaghetti). When I stumbled upon the reviews for this place it looked great so we gave it a shot - and the food lived up to the rave reviews. I had not expected to get such a delicious meal out in the middle of no where but we were pleasantly surprised. A little pricey but well worth the money if you're looking for a great, fresh meal and delicious cocktails!!
Coming from CT where delicious, fresh food is everywhere, my husband and I did not have high hopes for dinners during our travels across Utah.
Excellent food. Some intriguing choices - E.g. buffalo Tartar and elk sirloin... nicely prepared, with just the right amount of herbs and spices on the Tartar; sirloin very tender; cooked perfectly to a medium rare (as ordered)!
We ate here last summer (2016) and had such a great meal that we returned and had another meal here even though we weren't in the area for very many days. What a disappointment this year (October 2017). It started with the hostess. We had a fairly early reservation and there were quite a few open tables. She led us to a table on a direct path from the front door. We asked for a table not on a main pathway. She did take us to another table. It turned out it was on a direct path to and from the kitchen! Our waitress didn't know anything about the wine list except how it was listed on the menu on her tablet. Our water glasses were not refilled the entire time we were there. The Shrimp and Crab Stack appetizer was presented beautifully. However, it lacked any seasoning whatsoever. According to the menu, it had horseradish and red pepper. There was no horseradish and the red pepper was ground and sprinkled on the plate, not in the dish. No salt or pepper at all. If you want dessert, you better like cheesecake. If you don't, there is only one choice. Extremely disappointing.
