Great rooms with a great view. Very close to capitol reef and made for a very nice time exploring the park. An added bonus was how incredibly helpful they were when we got a flat tire. They helped changed the tire and direct us to the nearest place to get it fixed. They seem to really care for those staying at the inn.
We stay here every time we come down to Capitol Reef and we love it. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. The rooms were clean and the views from the porch were awesome. Very friendly service.
Longest wait I've ever had for a mediocre steak. Wife and I had been out hiking in the Capitol reef all day and were quite hungry when we got there. The 30 minute wait to get seated was understandable. The 2 hour wait for our food was quite another. The waitress said that she noticed that one of our steaks had been overcooked and that they were making it over again. Once the food finally did come my medium steak was so done I'd have sent it back if I hadn't already waited for so long.
This was a large comfortable room and good, clean bathroom. The beds and pillows were comfy and the shower was strong and hot. Terribly slow wifi internet, impossible to use. The hotel had a better than average breakfast included and the views from one side are beautiful. Would rate higher if not for the terrible internet speed.
